Supporting all Domains of the Danielson Framework for Teaching with Educational Technology (K-12)

The focus of this workshop will be the use of technology as an embedded and integral part of the continuous process of improving educator practice. Join us as we explore how technology can support teachers in all four domains the Danielson Model for Teacher Evaluation: Planning and Preparation, The Classroom Environment, Instruction, and Professional Responsibilities. During this interactive session we will share various ways that technology can be utilized throughout the subcomponents of the Danielson Framework. Specific digital tools, platforms, and applications will be demonstrated and highlighted to assist educators across grade levels, content areas, and teaching situations. Some examples of utilization that we will discuss include collecting formative data to differentiate instruction, sharing student work with opportunities for feedback, engaging every learner using digital tools and platforms, and using technology to communicate and collaborate. There will be opportunities for discussion and guided use of educational technologies during the workshop. You will leave this session with practical ideas that can be incorporated immediately into your professional practice.
